Default Power Seat Hook Up

Does anyone know if a pair of power seats from an '02 T/A be hooked up in a '98 T/A without original power seats?? If so, how difficult?
Thanks.

You should, they only have one way to wire our cars. I put T/A seats in my SS.

If you don't find a wire harness coiled up under the drivers seat, under the carpet then you'll just have to run a wire for it. Wouldn't be really that hard, fuse box is real close.

Peace,
Craig.

Thanks, I will check for a harness when I get a chance. Right now the car is tucked away and hard to get at.

the harness is there. I have power seats in my car, and it didnt come with them. The harness will be sticking out of the carpet towards the middle of the seat

The cross-car harness for the lumbar support won't be in the car but it's easy to make. There are only four wires and you can just match them color-to-color to connect the driver's seat to the air pump assembly under the passenger's seat.

But that wire harness is partnered with the two air tubes for the driver's seat from the air pump under the passenger's seat.

Peace,
Craig.

Ordinary vacuum hoses can be used to replace the missing air hoses. I don't remember the diameter off hand but it's readily available in bulk from local parts stores.

Yes, leather and power is standard. But lumbar was an option. If the seats have a pastic back with a net-pocket then it has lumbar.

Peace,
Craig.

Apparently not, because mine is a '98 T/A with leather and the seats are not power. Also, contrary to a sticky I once read, my T/A is a GU2 car, meaning 2.73 gear.

GU2 = 2.73 A4 car

If you're car is different, probably from previous owner.

Peace,
Craig.
