Exclamation Rear view camera

Anyone put a rearview camera on a camaro? Where did you put it? And how is the night visibility? I couldn't find anything on this. I have a 5% tinted back window and I need a rearview camera, already have a dvd radio in the car with an input for a camera.

I carry several of them. They range from $49.00 to $180.00. The T-View back up camera is a black license plate (comes mounted) with night vision, 170 degrees of viewing angle and is of course water proof. It is $149.00.

That sounds great. Do you have any pics or anything? How is it installed on the plate?

does lp camera send a reversed (left to right mirroring) signal, or have a switchable signal? Or better yet, do you have any kind of inline device that will achieve the same effect? And like stated before, any pics?

I saw a guy at work get one put on his truck.. license-plate mounted as well.. the view screen inside had a couple of buttons to mess with brightness, and screen orientation / flipping. Probably the same kit, really

Aren't the license plate mounted ones easy to steal? Someone can steal it easily from you. Is there any way to mount them in the keyhole for the hatch?

That's not a bad idea. I think the camera was a little bit too big for that hole, though. Unless you enlarged it. If it was the size of the doorlocks on the side, it would probably fit.

I've seen one in the key hole of a TA. It was sweet. I'll see if I can dig up some pics.

The less expensive one is just the camera without the license plate so that may be the way to go with the keyhole application. The license plate ones are a premounted unit but you can always buy the caps the go over the license plate screws and use all 4. This can deter would be theives as it takes too much time to get it all off. I will get some pics up tommorrow.
