Default sub

Okay so i drilled a hole in my 10" rf He2 sub, so now i am looking at 2 different subs, the Rockford Fosgate Punch P210D4
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...n_US&p_status=
and the alpine SWR-1042
http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...odel=SWR-1042D

I am running it off of a RF punch p6002.
Any input will be great. Thanks

Between those 2 I'd say go with the Type-R. It's a proven sub at that price range. I haven't heard the new RF subs though but I wasn't real impressed with that last versions. I liked the old HE2 like you have and the HX2 back then but sub tech has come a long way since then.

I just sold my two alpine type r's and im running fosgate p2's

NOT for the reason that fosgate is better, clearer, louder or anything...but they are deep subs and dont fit under my backseat. absolutely go with the alpines and get a good amp

What did you drill through on the sub? Maybe it can be fixed.

I was screwing it into my sub box and the drill slipped and went right through the speaker. I ended up buying the alpine. WIll let everyone know how it sounds when i get it.
