Default Need Help!! Amp has No Sound out of only 1 Channel

I recently bought a brand new Thunder Elite 1004 4-channel amp. Got
everything all wired up and was testing all the speakers, but my R/F
channel has no sound out of it. All I get is a static hummm once
hooked up? I tested those speakers on other channels and they work
fine, I switched the working other 3 channels to that one channel and
I get the same hummm effect out of the speakers. I tested the wires
hooked to that channel to the other three and it works fine also. I
dont know what else to try, I really hope the amp is not bad brand
new. So any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

More than likely it is the amp. It happens sometimes. Borrow a friends if possible and hook it up to test but judging by what you've described it is the amp and has a bad channel.

Yeah, sounds like something is messed up on the amp. One last thing to check would be to switch the RCA's from a working channel to that one just to eliminate the head unit/wiring. I had a channel on my amp go out and it turned out the RCA slot on the amp came off (forget what to call it, just the metal part you plug the RCA into). Had to rip it apart to figure out how the hell to get it plugged in right, but wasn't a big deal. You could check to see that it's nice and tight.

After that it looks like you'll be making a trip back to wherever you got it from for a new one.

Ok, found the problem, turns out it was the RCA cable, I accidentally punctured it with a screw while reintalling my door trim. Now next issue, still have a crazy amount of static comming from the speakers, so when there is no audio there is an annoying hummm still going, and its even worse when the car is running, the humm even changes pitch with the RPM of the car, kinda strange...and fustrating

Ground could be it but normally it's either that or cheap RCA's. In this case I think now that you've punctured the RCA cable you've compromised the integrity of any shielding that the RCA may have offered. This will add noise to the signal. That's why most RCA's of any quality come sheilded or double shielded.
