suggest an amp for single 10" DVC sub
I recently purchased a MTX stealthbox with a single 10" Audiobahn DVC subwoofer. I am looking for suggestions for an amp. Am I better off with a class D mono or a two channel? I would like the amp to be relatively small for concealing purposes, but let me know what you guys think!

I run an Alpine MRP-M450 on my single 10" DVC sub. I'm running the sub at 2 ohms, that gets me 400W.
It's certainly not an SPL system by any means...but it does get more than loud enough for me, and the cars electrical system doesn't even seem to notice that it's there, and it's a fairly small amp...I've always had good luck with Alpine electronics...like I said, it's not 1000 watts...but it is 400, and I drive around with it cranked up pretty high most of the time.

I have the CDT EF-100 SVC 4ohm 10" subwoofer that would be perfect in that enclosure. I will even get you a deal on them!! Normally a $149.00 sub...how does $89.00 sound??!!
This is a very good SQ type sub that will be tight and out perform most subs in it's class. I would put these up againt a JL Audio W3 anyday of the week. I've owned both in stealth enclosures and the CDT had much better bass response.
Here's more info on it: http://www.cdtaudio.com/versabox_subs.htm
