Default Just installed Bazooka sail panel subs! First impression!

Well, as the thread title says, I just installed my sail panel subs that I got from Kee Audio for my 01 TA. They only took about an hour to do working fairly liesurely and putting in some dynamat around them. My system, at this point, is completely stock aside from these now. Right away without any adjustments I could tell a big difference in sq. The bass sounded a lot smoother than the factories. After some adjustments to the eq, I must say that these are really a good upgrade from the factory subs. I never used to play any rap from my ipod in this car because they would distort with heavy bass notes. I tested them out with some ICP and Ludacris and was pleasantly surprised to see that they could actually handle Luda's heavy bass! Not that it's anything like having a 12 or something in there, but it's a definite improvement. No more distortion from the sails, more output, and smoother sounding bass. I still think I may add a stealth box for that shaking bass, but I'm happy with these subs so far. Thanks Ian Kee

I wanted to buy some from Kee Audio but didn't because he didn't respond to my emails. Instead I purchased factory replacements and a Stealth box. I am hoping that the 10" sub will drown out any distortion that the factory subs create.

Alway good responding to me. I know he is out of stock right now but love mine! It's okay though because you can hit him up again when those blow or distortion gets the best of you
