Default Thoughts on my setup idea

I'm thinking of doing a custom box, and taking out my rear seats. 2 JL W1's, one in each seat bay, with a JL 250-1 monoblock amp. I also want to run a double-din, but the seller selling those on here got banned, any other ideas besides doing it myself?

Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

doing what yourself?

that setup sounds fine but in all honesty subs sound far better in the hatch of the f-bodies than in the back seat.

My 1 10" sub sounded much better than my friends 2 12" subs. the only difference was that mine was in the stealth box location in the back and his was in the back seat. the he had MTX subs and a sony amp, I had a visonik sub and a quantum audio amp. so in all honesty his should have been louder and sounded better but it didn't.

honestly,

Do not lose your back seat, It is worthless in my opinion, Also you have your rear window which acts as and amplifier within itself. when bouncing woofers off the back window in the f body You can gain about 2-3db. to gain 2-3 db you have to Double your amplifier power output.

The properly constructed enclosure, and utilizing the back window will outperform alot of setups out there.

IMO, just put the subs in the cargo area to get the most from them!

Unless you're running big power through some high wattage subs (12s on up) and plan on building a large ported enclosure your wasting your time! IMO

Alright, well, I don't want to lose my T-Top slot, and still want to use 2 12s. Will the stealth box fit 2 12s, depending on depth?

stealthbox wont even fit one 12. it only works for 1 10. they made kits that let you keep the option to use your t tops and have 2 12's i think but i cant remember the link to the site
