If youre really worried about it, go grab one of those rental carpet cleaner machines from giant or walmart and just run the vacuum part over all the carpet. You could also prob use a wet/dry vac to the same effect.

Thanks, Ill have vacuum the interior when I get back home, i didnt think to do that. Ya this sucks, im on vacation in destin,fl and i have to drive back to new orleans in the morning. I would leave my windows down but its supposed to rain some more so my car is gonna smell like *** on the way back I know.

That's called "liquid sunshine" and it happens almost every day in Florida during the summer.
The problem isn't so much how wet the interior got but how long it stays wet. The sooner you get the water out the less likely you'll have a mold and mildew problem. Also, it wouldn't hurt to go over the seats with some leather conditioner.

when you get home pull up the carpet and there are rubber plugs in the floor board that will drain if there is that much water in there. i would just pull all the carpet and get the water out and let the carpet sit in the sun to dry.

been there before, like they said, get dry asap, otherwise it will get under the carpet. thats the big problem, because its rubber backed and it wont come out, it will just sit there and smell. i know from experience

Either pull the carpet now and dry it...
or you'll be pulling it in a week when your interior stinks. and you'll have to just replace the padding underneath the carpet at that point.
