Default is this even possible??

ok, i have no idea if this is even possible but i had this idea and want to know if it could work. i've got an amp box that holds my amps in the hatch area. is it possible to put all the wires that go into the amp box into a plug so i can simply plug and unplug my amp box so i can easily take it out of the car when i race?

Sounds do-able to me. I would do something to the tune of mounting a distribution block on the actual box so that you could just undo the main power wire from it and pull the assembly out. All you would have to do then is pull out the RCA cables and the remote cable, which could have a quick disconnect of some sort since it is so thin and doesn't require a lot of power

i dont know a whole lot about stereo stuff but i dont know if you get your power wire to close to the rca's on occasion you get feed back through your speakers, so you might want to keep your power wires separate from the rest of it, just a suggestion

i didn't wire it and i dont know much at all about wiring but i don't think it's anything too fancy. i have my 4 door speakers on a 2 channel hifonics amp and the 10'' sub is on the 800 watt powerbass. it looks like all the wires are seperate so i don't think i have a distro block or anything like that.

and good info blackbyrd. i think your right about some wires cannot touch certain other wires.
