The dark green wire is the dimmer output (brown is power supply, black is ground, and gray is the courtesy light signal wire).

one more question, what wire should we use as the key on hot wire for the 12V power?

The best place to get accessory power is the fuse box. There are three extra ports in the dash fuse panel that were designed by GM for use installing electrical accessories. One is BATT (constant battery power), one is IGN (ignition controlled power), and the third is ACCY (power when the ignition is on and during RAP operation after the ignition is off before opening a door - like the radio). They are single spade (flat) ports like half of a fuse socket. You can just put a spade connector on the end of your power wire and plug it into your selected port. Each is a 15-amp circuit so you should provide a smaller inline fuse if your gauges don't require that much power.
