Default Window Switch?

OK here's one for you... Had a problem with my passenger window switch. it seems it had a bad contact if you wiggled it it would work.. ok fixed that but the drivers side button doesn't role down the passenger window now.. it only works for the drivers side window button. OK so i thought well maybe the switch it bad.. You know when you were younger and you would fight for control of the window if someone was rolling it down you could press up on yours and stop it... Well thats what this one does if im using the passenger side to role it down and press up on the drivers it will stop!. but wont roll it down or up from the drivers side!!!. This is what i feel like!

The entire passenger side circuit (switch and motor) is wired through the drivers side switch. So, if the drivers side switch is bad, it will could cut the power to the entire circuit.

yes, But the passenger side works fine.. ITs the passenger button on the drivers side that wont roll down the passenger window... It will fight it if you push the passenger side button down and the drivers side passenger button up but it wont go up or down from the drivers side on the passengers side button works the window..

If the passenger side button works fine and the driver's side button does not operate the window properly, then either:
- the drivers side button has gone bad or
- there is probably a short in one of the traveler wires between the two switches.

If you get a hold of a schematic, you can test the switches easily. The F-Body factory manual has all of the car's schematics in it, which is a great investment. However; the material is under copyright and can't be legally posted online.

Unfortunately, toggling the buttons at the same time will not prove anything out for you. The circuit should work fine if both buttons are pressed in the same direction but should cut out if they are pressed in opposite direction. If it doesn't behave that way, it still could be a wiring issue - so you will need to test the switch with a continuity tester to make sure.
