Haha.... Beat a S/C 5.0 Well this guy had been talking crap about my car for awhile now. I was driving home, I JUST filled up my gas tank to the brim, and he saw me and decided to pull up next to me for a race. I though his car was completly stock, except for exhaust, wheels, and drag radials. His car is a 95 Mustang GT by the way. He revved the engine, I heard a weird whining noise... Anyways we launched. I spun most of the way through 1st. He was right next to me, but about 5' back. I hit 2nd and I lost sight of him. He was about 2-3 car lenghts back at the top of 3rd. I was thinking that that was pretty darn good for a nearly stock GT.
The next day he stops by and we talk. He was suprised to see that my engine was mostly stock. He opens his hood and I see a Vortech supercharger. He said he's running 6psi. He said it dynoed about 335-340. I tried my best not to laugh. I was suprised I beat this fool

Didn't 94-95 cars have a really bad intake versus the 93 and down 5.0's?

Re: Haha.... Beat a S/C 5.0 I know that the 87 to 93 Fox bodies have HO (high output) engines in them. The 94 and 95 5.0s don't, so that is why they only got 215hp stock vs the 225 of the Fox stock. If you order some parts for the SN-95 you have to get adapters for them so they will fit onto their engine.

My buddies step father had a 95(I think)Cobra (DUI-wrecked it) he told me about it and had some Mustang mags that backed him up. I drove it a few times pretty fun car actually...
