Default 99 Formula vs 03 STi

Heres a video of my racing a buddys STi from about 5-10mph. This was before my stall, but I still spin through 1st. Once I hook I pulled pretty hard. He said it wasnt building boost right, which is true I guess for how hard I pulled on him?

Good kill on the suby. Just so you know, STi's weren't available in the US till 2004 so it couldn't have been an 03.

"Not building boost right" is a lame ricer excuse because he lost.

Thats about what it looks like when an LS1 races an STi on the highway, its pretty much a joke.

Its a 300+WHP V8 vs. a 230WHP 4 cylinder. STi's don't have anything on the highway, they run out of breath on the top end.

Looked about right to me.

Of course it did Wesman. 'Twas an *** whooping to be sure but it's unclear if he raced an STi or a WRX. They are very different animals.

Just because something has a turbo doesn't mean it's good on the highway.

I asked the guy, its an 05 STi* sorry. Yeah the guy does a lot better at higher speeds when my gearing sucks. 50-60mph rolls suck for me since its the very top of 2nd and the bottom of 3rd.

Nice kills on the stock ricer. Feels good even though it's like clubbing a baby seal.

He needs to learn how to launch his car the right way and start going from a dig. Going from a 5mph roll without even brake boosting is asking you to whoop his ***.

A 5 MPH roll is kind of pointless anyway. Why not just go from a stop at that point?
