02 TA Vs 03 Cobra
My 02 TA: Mods in Sig
03 Cobra: Pulley (12 PSI), Exhaust, tune, CAI
First race was a 2nd gear roll cause my buddy was worried about spinning. He got me by a bumber
Second race was a 1st gear roll 10-110ish i had him by half a car.
To be honest i thought i was going to get him by alot more. I really have alot of respect for 03-04 Cobras. He said he was hopeing for 450hp to the wheels and a high 11 in the 1/4. Its insane how fast you can make them with just some bolt-ons. All in all i was happy with the turn out i knew it would be close but he surprised me. we are planning on taking them to the track soon i'll let yall know the results. Im looking for a 11.7 on my slip

Nice kill/death. Those close runs are always the funnest, especially when running a friend.
Sounds like both your cars are both equally matched. You both should run very similar times at the track as well.

Every noob on this site should read this. You even have the exact TSP cam I had in my 99 H/C SS. When I sold my SS and bought my pullied Cobra, we (my brother-in-law in my SS that I sold him) ran them 10 times litterally, with both of us trading inches on each other. Fun times.
It takes a well driven H/C LS1 car to properly run with a well driven Pullied Termi. In all honesty, if you could get a Cobra to hook at lower speeds, it would be even stronger.
Nice kill, the close races are the best

He would be roughly 450rwhp, tune pending. I assume he has a mail order tune? Could be some power left on teh table pending that tune and if there has been any datalogging.
VERY nice man.

a pullied cobra *should* mop the floor with you. put it this way i have run faster in the 1/8 than you with a worse 60 ft and trap 6mph higher. it would only get uglier after that

i dunno my car traps just south of 125 so i dont think theres too many bolt on ls1 cars near that. from a roll like this race id say it would take a stout h/c/ set up to run me down. however thats all gonna change with in the next month

i guess. car doesnt even have an agressive tune in it. on average it will trap 122-124 depending on the air that day. i almost touched 125 a few times. 124.71 was the fastest trap i think.

One of my buddies that i've known all my life had a 03 Cobra with the same mods as the buddy i raced and was going 11.6 in the 1/4. It all depends on Driver i think. And no car is the same i have had my share of "Factory Freaks"
