ta vs. dumdumdumdum Last friday night, i went cruising with a couple kids i know and one of them has an s r t 4 with all the bolt ons big turbo and meth injection. Honestly i had no real interest in racing that night seeing as how my bottle was almost empty and it there were light flurries blowing around...well anyway the says he wants to race me because he thought i was the fastest car there.
the race:
so we try and line up doing about 30 and he says thats too slow (lame). So i speed up to about 50ish i think and he tells me to honk. I honk and were off...i pull like 5 cars immediately and it stays that way until my car has to shift into overdrive at like 115ish when i can feel my bottle pressure dropping and he blows by my like im standing still...
after the race:
He claimed he was spinning till 90 mph...Im not sure really who won, but i do know if had been a quarter mile race i would have taken him but oh well it was fun.
If we race again there is a couple things i'll do differently: A. i'll fill my bottle up
B. clean my air filter C. and i'll put the timing back into my timing tuner that i took out when i was trying to run 87 ( on 93 again now)

nice lookin car man! and there is no way he was spinning until 90 haha. thats 40mph of spinning from a 50 and is just outrageous. what is he riding on tire wise? some 500 treadwear? haha. he would need some serious effin HP to burn out to the high of a MPH. and get your bottle filled and eat him up man!

SRT fours don't like traction, and low speeds...but till 90? My friends 50 trim doesn't even do that, and he is 400+. He DDs that thing, and 3rd gear he can grab....Hell, I think later half of second he can actually get traction. 90 mph burnouts is "almost" un heard of.

Side note....HOW THE **** was I able to open that link.....EVERYTIME I have been to autotrader, its been blocked here at work. I'm slightly confused lol.
