Silly Celica So I was leaving a movie (Watchmen...awesome) Saturday, on my way home. I happen to pull up to the light and a Celica's sitting in front of me, all modded out, fart can, ground effects, the works. It at least isn't ugly as sin, he did hold back a little. Anyway looking around there's nothing coming from the direction we're both headed and he guns it. I chuckle a little and give about a 3 second start. Then its on. I gun it out of there and I'm willing to bet in under 8 seconds I'm blowing by the poor thing, and he's still at WOT. Guy takes the first right he can and disappears. Was pretty funny, you could just tell this guy thought his Celica was the shiznit.

i always think you need to either have your info of your car in your sig, or give us a break down of the two cars at the begining of the post.
hell what if he was in his DD and its a slow 200SX or something slower like a Sebring. . . or even a S2K
see if those guys catch that one

yay! someone noticed 
all in good fun since this thread is dead and needed a little spice i know im a jerk. but on a side note, there is this like charcoal colored S2K i see all the time and this fine *** asain girl drives it and i always see her going opposite ways 
ohh and tonight i will have some pictures finally of my car, got the camera from the ex and snapped some pictures after getting the car all washed and shined up last night

LMAO sorry guys, I've been with a Realtor, selling the house. My bad on the car, my daily driver is a 1998 Z28 which as near as I can tell is in stock condition. The previous owner mentioned a stall converter being put in, but I haven't checked. If there is one it's about a 2800-3000, nothing noticeable.
I plan on hitting a shop to see if they can tell me about anything in the engine. I'm not technical at all with vehicles, but I'm trying to learn.

Posting to see if sig is up now. Yay, there we go. Added an Avatar, sig, and posted a few extra pics of her. She's going into the shop on the 24th cause of a hit and run.

Thanks, she needed some tender loving care. I got her in NC (rented a car and drove there and drove her back), and the previous owners didn't even feed the right octane. I threw some super in her and her check engine light went off, she purred a little then we danced the interstate about 95 the whole way from NC to Kentucky. Best 4k I ever spent.

i know right? or he has a 230hp 3rd gen. . . and the celica really beat him!

No use trying to make sense to him, he's 100% against me cuz I don't have a Vette/F-body/GTO. So light-hearted humor means nothing to him.

If I had some real $$$ than an LSx/T56 swap would be a big consideration. But I haven't seen final results from anybody that has done the swap so far, so it wouldn't be happening anytime soon.
