Got killed by a caddy
Well, i had just went out to get the wife and me a movie and some food. I just got my T/A two weeks ago and haven't messed around with it too much, so when i saw this brand new cadillac riding me when i was getting on the interstate i was like "HELL YEAH." We had a little traffic to deal with; both of us in the left lane and the right lane cleared up. We were rolling about 75 when i saw him punch it and change lanes. I hit the gas, but it was too late. By the time we had hit 100, he was flying by me. Sucks, but that car was beautiful and to tell the truth i don't even know what kind of caddy it was. All i know is i had never seen one that looked like it before. He got off at my exit and i rolled down my window to ask what the hell he had done, but he just zoomed off and i had to get the old lady's food home so i just said whatever. Sorry for the long story, but it was my first race and even though i got killed it was fun as hell.

well, i got on the cadillac website and it looked most like a cts mostly, but i guess this guy had some visual mods or something because it didn't look completely like one. I know i'm making myself sound like i don't know much about cars, although i do. I guess this guy just completely surprised the **** out off me. But thanks everybody for not laughing at me and rippin me a new one. i was worried because this was my first post in here. And by the way congrats Sarge.

Nevermind....
CTS-V, with its supercharged 6.2-liter LSA engine, has achieved SAE-certified peak output of 556 horsepower (415 kW) at 6100 rpm and 551 lb.-ft. (747 Nm) of torque at 3800 rpm.
CTS-V accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. CTS-V covers the quarter-mile in 12.4 seconds at 115 mph.

Meh, my car is still faster and I saved $60k while doing it....

Straight line speed is one very small factor of having a car. Anyone could go grab a new 1000cc bike for under 15K financed and stomp just about any stock production car in existence, but wouldn't it be boring if we all just hopped on our 1000 every time we wanted to go fast?

You guys will probably laugh but maybe I should go buy an import. I stopped upgrading my car with power mods and starting working solely on suspension last month. Most fun I've ever had with a car lol. She's near 1g handling now and it's an f-in blast.
I've run some of the LS2 CTS-V's and yeah, they're nothing to play with. The last one I ran from a 30 roll and he stayed pretty much on my bumper to 100. They're quick. And the 09' is WAY out of my league. Badass car.

I was driving home one day on 121 in Frisco and came across a LS6-LS2? I cant tell the dif just by looking but the guy was cool as hell! I got him to goose it a few times at about 45 but he ran over some dirt on the road while he was goosing it got a little sideways! Lol, he stopped playing around for me after that and turned into the Wal-mart... Needless to say, I went home with a BIG *** GRIN and punched my self a few times because I cant get mine until the end of this year, first part of next year!
