3800 vs my Z? hmmm...
My brother has this friend who has a 97 RS with the 3.8L V6 and he thinks that since he has a manual and mine's automatic, he can take me. He bought the car with some stuff done to it like a CAI, exhaust, and a terrible looking wing. He has no clue about cars at all (obviously, since he thinks a 5speed V6 can take an automatic LS1). Also, my brother, who doesn't know a thing about cars either, said that he could tell just from riding in the car with him that he is terrible at driving stick. So anyways, what I'm getting at here is should I offer him a bet of say $50 or so to a race or should I just stomp on him without taking his money, trying to be semi-nice?
Oh yeah, I just got new tires too.

Hell yeah man! Except for one thing though, I won't be putting them on right away because I want to wait to get everything I need and put it all on at once and get it tuned shortly after. I still gotta find a Lid and a GMMG catback for a good price. Or maybe I should skip out on that and get the 6-speed you have for sale except then he won't want to race because "manuals are far more superior than automatics"

Heh, sad picking on poor guys in V6 f-bodies that don't know their stuff or their place.
Well, teach him a lesson, then send him our direction so we can teach him the err of his ways, or if he doesn't behave we'll run him out of our little V6 tiki-hut village. Hopefully we can educate him and get him on the right track. Then when he's ready to play again, you might have a little more challenge. Might.
I'm guessing he's got that wings west or whatever style supra wing?

When I punch my v6 from a start, it does not even spin the wheels. I raced my friends audi a4 and he pulled off the line pretty hard because he dumped the clutch and he has awd, and then I walked him shortly after in the v6. I raced him again in my firehawk, and he did the same thing dumping the clutch and even with wheels spinning I pissed all over him even off the line. So there is no way a v6 would be close in first or second. BTW my firehawk is automatic.

Of course it was fast. It had a turbo. This kid's car doesn't have that - It just has bolt-ons. Im not bashing V6's at all if that's what it seems like. I don't even try to race them when I see them because everyone knows the outcome. I'm just trying to teach this kid a lesson because its getting kinda annoying with him saying his car is faster than mine just because its a stick.
