Default English 1-8-7 on Morning Commute

I was on I-95 this morning on my way into work, when I notice what I initially mistook to be a New Jaguar racing in and out of traffic behind me. Eventually, he caught up to me, and together we sat side by side, in deadlock traffic giving each other menacing stares. Finally, the traffic retaining walls broke and we found ourselves with a good deal of romping room. He reved up and gunned it, most likely in second gear. It sounded sinister, an evil growl. But that unfortunately was about all it was, a fierce bark with not much bite.

I caught him at the top of second gear and proceeded to place 2 lengths on him before traffic began to emerge out of the murky horizon. I slowed to a stop letting the heavy rpms wind down, as the Vantage slid into the lane to the left, he gave me a pleased look, thumbs up and then descending back into traffic.

Cool looking car, great hood music, not much romp, though the driver looked quite amateur.

I wasn't "gunning it" and I am not sure that he was giving the traffic situation, but if I owned a 120k+ automobile I would not allow a young adults Firebird outgun me....

This makes me sad...all you guys getting to race, and no one ever takes my CL seriously. Apparently you aren't supposed to race a 3pt star...
