Default ran a badass '55 chevy today

So i went back to the track tonight after my sprocket change thinkin i could drop a few tenths off my time. the DA was great tonight because is was cool and dry out. so i line up against a '55 chevy 2 door post thats black and white, really clean looking old car. so he does his burnout and we line up.

he left waay early, i cuut a decent light.. he was about a carlength ahead of me until the 1/8th mile, then i slowly pulled back and we crossed the traps with him 1/2 car ahead. he ran a 12.79 at 105 to my 12.69 at 106 . he was a really cool guy, wouldnt give up too much about the motor. id guess it was probably a 383 with a moderate cam. it was a good run.. there were a few fast cars out tonight. later on i lined up against a turbo'd 05+ gt that was a total sleeper. he romped my *** with an 11.47 at 128 mph.

oh and there was an '10 camaro SS auto there.. running consistant 14.0's at 101-103 all night.. i wasnt really impressed.

Good race! The older cars are always fun because you never know what you're gonna get.

It's always fun to race an older car. I ran into a 55 Chevy Bel air with a roll cage, skinnies up front meats out back, and a blower sticking out of the hood on the street. Very nice car light blue and white, that was alot of fun
