Default Three bikes in two weeks LOL!

Two weeks ago had a crotch rocket race from 70 MPH to 140 MPH on the way back from Ocean City to Indian River Inlet gave me a go at night. I was a fender ahead of him when we let off (140 MPH) near the bridge. It was a white bike with red and he had a female passenger. I had the GF with me and she was shocked I wanted to race a bike LOL. I bet his GF was pounding his head for going that fast!
Yesterday on the way back from Wildwood I locked horns with two more crotch rockets (always at night so I can't make out the exact markings). Again from about 60 MPH to 120 MPH... one got scared early but the black one was ahead until I pulled side by side with him at about 115 MPH and we stopped.

If you guys are out there reading this thanks for the fun! The GF loves the rush! I am putting a 9" in with 3.70's so playing with bikes from a kick may need to stop LOL

They aren't Hayabusas and the white/red one may have been a CBR but the black one wasn't a 600. No way! I turned off right after the run last night or I would have loved to have stopped to see what size they were. I have noticed when you get up over 120 bikes get a little scared. I need some day races so I can ID better!

You do realize that most of the newer 600cc bikes are basement 11's at 120-125 with a decent rider right? A 1000 would have buttfucked you every which way.

I was watching the road and all but just asked the GF her take again since she was watching the bike. The Ocean City bike might have been. The one that got scared last night may have been a 600 also but that black one no way she said. It had a lengthened rear arm from what I could make out as well.

I do. That's what I just told her when she asked what they run. The black one was 750 or bigger though. No doubt in my mind

Well you mentioned it had an extended swingarm so its probably a 600 just with a couple bolt-ons.

All three 600's. I doubt it highly and wish I could have got beside them to ask. I wish they read the board here but doubt it. The two last night gave thumbs up as I got off my exit which was cool.

750 or 1k would have raped you pretty hard unless the rider had serious issues..

They were all 600's with squid riders....

My GSXR750 is 8 yrs old and I had very little trouble with a C5Z getting onto the interstate so about a 30-125mph pull....... i'm also 238lbs.

Most 600's with a good rider will beat you.

600s with squids... PERIOD!

i had an F4i (not known for their speed) and would toy with 115mph trap speed cars... (liter bikes are good for 130+mph traps

i now have a 954rr.. my buddies pullied/intake/tune/water cooled/full exhaust 03 cobra... easy traps of 120ish...

i would be hard pressed to say it was a "race"... more of a slaughtering... didnt look like he was even trying..

you did NOT race good riders.. race a good rider and see what happens..

FWIW... my H/C/I yada yada yada (425rwhp) trans am that weighed in at 3k lbs BARELY inched away from 600s... and i mean BARELY.. TA trapped 95mph in the 1/8 on a 85 degree night.. i know a lot of people with bikes (because i ride myself) and i raced quite a few... id say around 10-12 bikes.. ranging from 600s to 1000s... good riders and shitty riders... stock bikes and modded bikes.. im not talking out of my ***..

still think you raced a good rider on a 600 or a half *** rider on a liter bike?

Most 600 run 120+mph in the quarter even bikes that are 10+ years old. Range anywhere from 10's-to low 11's with someone who knows how to ride. The problem with 600's is that their powerband is so peaky and they have no power under the curve. If you are not in the right gear you will get smoked. When cruising at 70mph say in 6th gear I would have to drop it down 3 gears for best acceleration. Streetbikes are not hard to ride at all I have no clue why so many people fail at riding them to their potential. Maybe it's because I have ridden dirtbikes my whole life that its just what Im used to.

Also Lemons I had an 01 f4i they have a lot better powerband than the newer 600's alot more under the curve. They run pretty hard 10.75 @ 127.09. Its all in the rider though, I whooped a hayabusa 3 times in a row at the track.

friend of mine has a gsxr 600 and runs high 11's at track and can only get the bike to 13000 rpms. wen they red at 16. (badly untuned) i dont think with a decent rider you couldnt keep up less ur running above 500hp to a 750
