There's a turbocharged camaro in our area who never races. He's actually got a few pretty fast cars that he's bought, but never races either one of them. But the other weekend he ends up racing a cam only car with a 200 shot of nitrous. Niether race was fair and the turbomaro wants a rematch. He said from a 30mph roll, he will give a 5 car length lead and come around and win by 10. Now he even brought me into this so I want to know how much horsepower would he really need to win this race under those terms so I can enlighten the poor guy. I just don't see that happening, or am I wrong? Both me and the other guy are good for probably 10.5x. The turbo camaro went 9s a long time ago from the previous owner. I know his car is faster, but I just don't see it winning that race. Here's the link:
