Default Raced a Black on Black 2010 SS

Wow I didn't know these things were THAT fast...

It was a 4 lane street just about 45 minutes ago, kinda had some traffic on it but we were in a good open area..

I just stayed next too him with my mouth open it was so SEXXXYY.. Black SS with Black wheels / chrome lip.. It was so amazing looking.

1st race we took off even and when I hit 3rd gear (we started in 2nd) we stayed dead even, but then he hit 3rd (I assume) and I pulled just a little and I wasn't even to the top of 3rd before he shut down (so did I, we were coming up on traffic)

2nd race, traffic cleared, same roll, he got a good half car jump (I tried to honk and he didn't understand lol) and Honestly through my 2nd and 3rd gears all I could manage was pulling back even with him, now if we would have went through 4th I might of pulled a good fender on him but who knows.... At least I pulled back even!!

I was SHOCKED at how quick it was, I raced a challenger the other day and blew its doors off, but NOT this thing...

I have a picture of it on my Samsung Eternity if I can find out how to e-mail it.

My car ran 12.9 @109 last year on 245 street tires, with a 2.0 60'.

now I got TTII's all around with 315 DR's on the rear. Wouldnt matter much from a 2nd gear punch though.

I'm not sure why you're so surprised. You edged out a car that can put up similar numbers at the track. Good kill.

4.10's, P/S headers, P/S y-pipe, LM 1 exhaust, slp lid, dyno tune.

That's all that I can think of.

Maybe just because I thought the challengers were Similar in performance and I just ran away from one last week...

I definitely know now that the new 2010 Camaro will be a damn good drivers race!!

Someone correct me if im wrong, but i believe the Challenger's still weigh more then what the new Camaros do. So even with similar performance (idk what numbers these challengers are supposed to be putting down but lets just say they are similar to the new camaros), the extra weight hurts the Challengers more. Nice runs though.

EDIT: By the way, was the Challenger an R/T or SRT8 model??

Actually, its a few hundred more since i just checked up on edmunds.com and they have the SRT8 model weighing 4140lbs (R/T being slower & at the 4000lb mark as well) and the new Camaro SS is at 3857lbs. Not to mention, the SS is a bit faster in the 0-60 & quarter mile marks then the SRT8 model.

What were the conditions that you ran in at the track? Full exhaust and 109 trap?

Nice run btw.

My brother has an 06 AWD TBSS with cai and Magnaflow exhaust. It pulls hard. Off the line if you don't have at least drag radials you will be looking at tail lights in about 1 second and playing catch up from there. It surprises a lot of people.
