killed another saleen and 3v
On my way home tonight I ran into a newer style supercharged saleen mustang and the guy pretty much immediately downshifted so I knew he wanted some action. We caught a light and went from there. Off the launch I put on about a 1/2 car and gained another when he shifted into 2nd. Throughout 2nd I stayed 1 car ahead and when he hit third he was slowly pulling. But I soon let off about a 1/2 ahead considering the speed limit was 50 and were way past that. I was expecting alot more out of that 3rd gear but I guess the t/a held her off. This is my second killing of a 3v saleen s/c but the first was from a bad driver from a dig, so I was wanting to see want they really could do. I know these cars aren't meant to just go in straight lines but for like being rated at what like ~450 horse I wasn't impressed. I have also driven in one many times by a friend of mine before he left for college and they didn't feel so fast, more refined than ls1's.
The less exciting kill was a 3v M5 w/ 3.73, tune, cold air kit, O/R X. He would only go from a 35 for an 3.23 A4 but anyways if I wanted to find out then why not. So from about 2k rpm we went and surprising enough we were dead even, then he shifted and it was over. With me being at the top of my powerband I pulled about 1.5 cars and I let off soon after. Then we went from a light and the dig was closer but I think I was about 1 car ahead at ~80. The guy was a good driver tho, so don't count that as why I pulled so hard during the shift.
It's been so long since I got some good kills in.
