I see they are qwk with mods to cant wait till he get some bolt ons.

That does run out well! Is it tc or sc cobalt? Look at the july issue of hot rod magazine. They did supercharger and cam tests on those cars and they were hitting close to 400 hp with simple super upgrades and cams. Good vids.

The turbo Cobalts are impressive little cars. I'll also say this: If I owned that 5.0, with its current mods, I WOULD NOT have wanted to run that SS from a roll!

but when you see it race something else it realy shows what it can do!

I ran one the other day in the GTO and only beat it by a couple of cars. I thought something was wrong with my car. He pulls up and says something about a stage 2 turbo setup, whatever that was. Quick little car.

those cars are making real niec power with just bolt ons. saw one with just intake, downpipe, (maybe a tune, idk), and exhaust hit 300 @ the wheels. they are definitely impressive. cant wait til a forged internal bigger turbo ones comes around and puts a real smack down on plenty of stuff. i say GM turns it AWD and make their own WRX/EVO competitor turbo version is soooooo much better than the SC one.

ZZP over at my fav cobalt site just ran an 11.9 on stock turbo!

FWD sucks with launching these damn things!!!
and yes, tune only are over 300hp and 340tq!

Those things are really impressive. They would make one hell of a DD. And I agree AWD would be awesome, but thats not going to happen. It would drive cost up, and kill the mpg.

As it stands right now it'll out handle both the STi and Evo X with FWD, can you imagine what AWD would do to my once beloved STI ?

I got a chance to drive while on orders to Kirtland AFB and I must say that thing is most impressive !
