5000 ft at 11 pm...
The 13.0 of the zr1 was at that point his best pass of the night.
All the other c5's and c6's and even the c6 zo6's were slower then the zr1 except on zo6 that went 12.75.
twin turbo awd porche went 13.3x....
gtrs running 12.4's
heads cam, header, tune with tire G8 was slower at 13.5's
maggie g8 even slower
all 4th gens except one with a lsx 454 were slower...oh and I think one other that lost the trans,, it was a ta, with a stall, heads, cam, longtubes, tire,,etc....and goes mid 12's
modded na busa with 20 yr veteran drag racer ran 10.65 132 best...several 11.0 passes, and most the bikes were in the high 11's or 12's.
That was all last night....
I guess its not the track or air.....its that every last person cant drive....
I cant believe the zr1 gets excuses....the van was on 20's too.....and a win is a win. In the fi thread Im called lame for saying the van would destroy virtually all zr1 's on the street........well I d wager $$$ against as many zr1's as possible with any mods, as long as the oem tires are on it, and take my chances. All the power in the world doesnt help if you cant use it. The van will run basically exactly the same on the street and the vettes will just get slower even......and I was 4 tenths ahead still at 660 ft.....

Its more like worse possible conditions......He spins and the 660 of the low 12 pass climbs right up to mid 8's real quick and its a race.

Judging from that 60' time I'd say the vette spun his *** off. Based on the opinion of alot of people in here spinning makes the trap speed shoot up, so I wonder why he was about 8 mph slower than he should have been
