G8 gt, sti, lt1 z28 Went out for a cruise with some friends today and got in a couple good runs. I ran a catback only 2006 STI. We got one dig run and a couple rolls. I also got a couple more runs in against my brother's mild bolt-on 1994 A4 Z28. Real fun time.
From a dig the STI pulled out a car and then I started pulling back and got him by about a car and still pulling in the 1/4.
From a roll it was about even until about 100 mph where I pulled slightly in both runs.
From a dig the Z28 jumped out about a car and I wasn't able to cathcn him by the end, with him winning by a little less than a car length.
From a 25 mph roll it was even for a bit and then the G8 pulled, with me winning by about a car.
From 60 mph the G8 just started pulling with me winning by about 2 car's.

Thanks, man! Yeah, those were some awesome runs. Joe is gonna make the video and post it up in the morning at some point. Should come out well.
I'd be interested in seeing how my friend's Evo would do against both our cars. It's bone stock and I've never seen a pretty much stock for stock race with an Evo and an STI. Not sure I can talk him into coming out, but I'm gonna try

Yeah I'm kind of annoyed I didn't get any real good runs with the STI, so we deffinately need to go out with them soon. I will run whatever race we get the chance to do but there's no way that I will have any shot at pulling on you if we dont get a dig race in hahaha. That was a fun cruise on sunday though. We gotta do it again soon.

Yeah I'm kind of annoyed I didn't get any real good runs with the STI, so we deffinately need to go out with them soon. I will run whatever race we get the chance to do but there's no way that I will have any shot at pulling on you if we dont get a dig race in hahaha. That was a fun cruise on sunday though. We gotta do it again soon.
