Death by 6.0 GTO: so very close I'm hoping the driver is on this forums...
Anyways, this past Friday night two friends and I went out to search for some racing. Going up 45 north, we see a blue GTO merge onto the highway. I drop a few gears and catch up but he sees me coming up and I guess thought I was going to ricer flyby him so he nails it before I get up next to him. A bit further down he realizes I wanna race and we line up. First pull he got the jump and from 70 to 110 he gets his rear bumper to my nose. Second pull we line up and I get the jump this time from 75 to 110 yet he pulls me still, however, my nose is at his door. Very close races. Thumbs up'd each other and I had to exit. I couldn't tell if he had any other mods other then exhaust, which sounded nice.
Question. I had two 150-160 lb ppl in my car. If they were out and it was just me, how much of a difference would 300 lbs or so make?

Hmm, not sure why I didn't read the OPs post right the first time (My reading comprehension leaves much to be desired), but that is a shitty roll race, agreed.

Haha, I see. Thanks for the responses. I wanted to slow down and kept making hand signals but I guess he thought I meant you honk or something. They were very short bursts, I agree. I was in bad rpms but I figured he was too.
We intended to go find ricers so the extra two people would of made no difference, lol. Instead, we found no ricers and only that guy in the GTO. I've seen this GTO before, a few months back. I will track em down and run again.

i always win in the gto, you just have to pick the right fights... cars that are parked, going the opposite direction, tricycles riden by fat kids, etc.
