Default Me vs C5

Picked up the "new" car on Saturday from Houston. On the way back to OKC (just south of Dallas, IIRC) I ran into a black C5. Looked clean, nice car. Maybe bolt-ons. Two guys, early to mid 20's. Anyway, we were on 45N and lined up. I dropped it into 4th at around 75mph. Sitting at 4000 rpm's I give 3 honks and stand on it. I was only in it for a second. Seriously, No more than a second or two tops! The vette was 2-3 cars back. I slow down, he give's me the "hold on a sec" finger. I wait, he give me the "I'm ready this time" look. 3 honks again, same outcome. The new girl runs STRONG! Now I just gotta find me 2 or 3 gallons of 110 or 116 since we only have 91 in Oklahoma

I mix 2.5 gallons of 110 with 14 gallons of 91. Comes out to right about 94 octane.

So any word on where I can find 93 around here? I'm looking as close to the Moore/Tinker AFB area as possible. Thanks guys!

that sux you don't have 93 in your area...I thought it was only like that on the west coast. So you could tune for what your mixing and it would be the same as me tuning on 93. Still using stock 02s though?

No 02's....it's an ORY. The problem is the tune in the car sucks. So I have to either find someone in OKC with hptuners or just buy it myself so I can log some stuff and email it to my tuner in Baltimore. He can tweak it and send it back to me so I can push it into the car. And it was tuned for 93. Only have 91 around here. Plus, the motor had TR55's in it!!!! It's a 408 with a big *** cam and a set of TFS heads! I'm gonna throw some TR6's in her.

Yeah, thanks for the heads up on the race gas. I got a jug and 5 gallons of 110. I was just curious as to who had 93 around here. Is my new car stock? Did you see the wink in my sig? lol. I destroyed a C5 in a matter of a second or two. No it's not stock

By "hung" you mean barely lost? I could see that. You have an M6 intake and exhaust car. If you shifted your *** off and he was automatic I could see you hanging with him.
