Me Vs. A Charger SRT8
I was on my way home tonight on 101 when i came across a charger SRT8...We were both cruising at around 70...I passed by him slowly but there was a little to much traffic to where nothing would be able to happen...After a couple of miles, traffic starts to thin and I see him catching up slowly to me...
I drop into 4th with him right behind me...I slide over and let him get beside me and I throw a couple of gerks...He responds...Traffic is at a minimum now so we both hit it at the same time...By the top of 4th I have about 3/4 to a full car on him, slam it into 5th and pull another car and we both shut down around 135...
From what i can see he had exhaust on the car and was running some slightly larger wheels...He also had his girl in the car as well(added weight)...I gave him a thumbs up, and got off...
All in all it was a good race with a decent outcome...
My car right now is on an extreme diet with all the interior gone besides the dash and door panels...It weighed in at 3420# with me in the car and on a full tank of gas...

Good kill. I had about that same encounter with a Challenger SRT last week. I didn't think he wanted to play after I slowly passed but a few minutes later he crept back up. We both slowed from 70 to about 50 hoping to catch the next light but it stayed green. So from a roll we go....I'm in third and give him the jump. I quickly put a car length on him and go till the top of fourth gear, still pulling, now about 2 lengths ahead. I was alone and he had a passenger. I was in the TA. I thought he would put up a better fight than that....great looking car though.

If all he had was an exhaust it seems you should have pulled more on him esp since you're nearly 1k lbs lighter.

Nice kill. Judging that you have bolt-ons and weight reduction and he had wheels (larger than 20s?) and a passenger, I'm wonder if he was tuned. 70mph is a bad spot for SRT-8s too.
