Cobalt is pretty quick! Looks like you should run em from a dig or lower roll

Good runs! Those Cobalts are very awesome cars. How do they stack up to an SRT-4 Neon stock for stock?

From what I've read it is pretty much a drivers race stock for stock. The Neons are a bit lighter with a little less power. I think the SS's trap higher though so in a perfect world they'd be the winner. I'd take a balt over a skittle any day though.

what he said.
same thing with a mazdaspeed 3.
drivers race.

but the tunes on the cobalts are no joke.
as the OP says 300hp. he hasn't answered but thats probably tune only.
the GM stage 1 finally got released and is around 290/330 but aftermarkets are well above that.

3000lb + 300hp = WTFcobalt?

I will when I get rim/tire.

Yeah you can. Stock turbo can hold 23 psi, Most guys are making between 310 and 350 WHP running that much boost with bolt ons.

20 PSI. Stock cold pipe, catback, intake, intercooler, tires

Eh I dunno man, the Cobalt is light, as in high 2800's and if one makes 20 more whp but weighs 600-700 lbs more especially at these weight/hp ratio's its over.

They make more power and more torque, but are a tad heavier. I think the cobalt is more mod friendly and cheaper to get to 350WHP, but after that I would have to say the SRT-4 is a better buy.

If you want a FWD 135 MPH car buy an SRT-4 if you want a badass FWD car that traps 105-115 without spending over a grand, and doesn't look like the shittiest econoshitbox to EVER hit the market than the cobalt is the way to go.

Its directly injected which right now it runs out of fuel at around 400WHP and until something comes out a reliable 500WHP is not within reach.

Nice races. That 6-speed made a big difference in the LS1. Get some tires on it and run the auto from a dig! Get some more video!

I laughed when I watched that Mustang drop like a rock.

Sooner or later someone will make and market high rate injectors and pumps. "Aftermarket to the rescue!" You could always just throw in a second set of injectors into the intake manifold... all your fuel doesnt need to be obtained from the factory combustion chamber injector does it?

I love those LNF motors. Thinking about buying my dad a GM Stage 1 for his 07 Solstice GXP. Fun little car to drive!

Those Cobalt's with the turbo are no joke! My friend used to have an 06 Supercharged with stage 2, exhaust, CAI, etc. and I smoked him after he was talking all this **** to me.

Those new LNF's PULL HARD in 3rd gear. I know from experience in my dad's Solstice GXP we occasionally play around in.

Keep it up man! Do you have an F-body too?
