Running lean and detonation will kill any block. Stock supra's can handle way more than that, **** was all in the tune.

That setup would probably run pretty well if it wasn't for the whole engine coming apart thing.

I don't know **** about Supra's, but was the A/F ratio really 12.5:1 at 27psi? That tune doesn't make any sense...tons of boost, no timing, A/F
for a N/A car basically.

Yea at first i thoguht it was an import thing, but it really is to high for almost 30 lbs of boost. It's almost like they wanted the motor to go. Its their fault the motor went.

Too high for 30lbs? ****...that's scary lean with any boost.

Thats what my post was hinting at. The tune is what blew the motor. 12.5 A/F???? Yeah no doubt the motor was toast. All guys I know tune for 11.5-12.0 and thats lean for most. Rich is usually 10.0-10.5 for turbos but atleast it is safe. Easiest way to blow a rod is threw a shitty tune running very lean.
