Aveo vs Mustang win

Aveo vs Mustang win My friend just had this happen to him and told me the story, I couldn't believe it but it happened...
For reference, this is a newer mustang, retro style so relatively new probably a v6. His Aveo is stock.
He was driving his Aveo and came to a stop when this Mustang pulls up next to him and tosses a rev. He looks over and the guy is being a total douche and laughing at his car. So he's feeling ballsy, and tosses a "rev" back. The light turns green and they both hit it. Amazingly my friend beats him off the line, and pulls ahead for a sec. They are going for about a block and all of a sudden he sees the Mustang pull over and toss his hazards on. My friend being a good samaritan, pulls over and goes to see if everything is OK. The Mustang guy is swearing up a storm saying "I can't believe I ran out of gas"!
Happy ending: My friend drove him to the gas station and the guy was just sitting there red the whole way saying "I can't believe it" over and over.

Having said that, it's typical of both Mustang and F-body 6cyl owners. I don't know how many F-body/Mustang 6cyl has revved up to me and acted all bad-assed as if they were in a fast car.
Having said that, the 2011 Mustang 6cyl is going to be rated at over 300hp. I am going to laugh when they start taking the 2010 GT in races. Expect to get a 3v Mustang for less than usual when the new 5.0 comes out.

You gotta watch out for those. The V6 pony package cars are actually decently faster then the GT counter parts. This is because the engines are so much lighter and they are yanked right out of ford tractors, so they are coarse as **** but put out so much torque that ford gave it a 6 speed auto to handle all that torque, and with those ratios plus the lighter weight and more torque they walk all over GTs. Its a seldom known secret, only the pony package cars come with the 6 speed autos tho so just look for the two little lights next time.
