Trex Cam LS1 WS6 vs Saleen 3V turboed So I took my car out of the garage today for a little cruise, up and down the local strip I keep seeing this black Saleen. So I turn into the mall parking lot and so did he and follows me for a long time, Im like okay this guy is game for some fun. I get back on the main road and its perfectly clear, so he brake boosts and flys past me. I returned the favor with a 2nd gear down shift and flew past him with my dual cut outs opened.
Round 1. We get next to each other at 50 mph, he puts it in gear and while I am in the process of letting the clutch out he goes WOT. So Im like **** there goes my shot, but as soon as my foot hit the floor his pull immediately stopped and I reeled him in for a neck and neck 2nd and 3rd gear run. I slam into 4th perfectly right at 6500 rpm and started to pull on him. By 115 or so I had put a car on him easy.
Round 2. 1sy gear roll, I hooked perfectly and absolutely left him behind. I cut out by 70 cause he was not gaining.
So we pull into the gas station and hes like he asks me what Ive done blah blah, I told him I have a cam with stock heads and stock intake with headers and my exhaust dumped before the axle. I make 423 rwhp, he told me he has a Saleen S281 3V which he turboed and makes 411rwhp.

Oh and a honda civic SI thought I was racing him cause I came off the line just a tad bit aggressively, so I hear him go WOT and I already shifted into 2nd at 20 mph but said **** it and floored it from there. He never even passed me lol.

No that looks like the bay of a 2004 prior mustang, this car was a 05-09 style Saleen and it was all black. Very pretty car might I add lol, I will admit I though, I thought his car was completely stock. The first time he did a fly by he was pretty quiet, but I could definitely hear the turbo spool and he was no slouch either. Much faster then any other 3V I ever encountered, I was pretty surprised at the out come, there was a video on here recently of a mach 1 slaying a Z06, I expected the same fate. But he was a cool guy and Im sure Ill run into him again hopefully with a video camera.

He could of told me 411 just so that I would run him, I told him right off the bat I made 423.I am always honest with my mods and power level, I dont take this street racing stuff to seriously, if I lose big deal my ***** wont shrink cause of it lol.
