2001 WS6 vs 2002 GT (Video)
this race took place about 6-7 months ago when i first got my car, i just found the video so i thought i would post it up.
WS6: Slp Lid, Magnaflow Catback 6-Speed
GT: Exhaust 5-Speed
first race was from a dig, gave the GT a 2 car head start. the 2nd race is the same race as the first just the camera inside the GT. 3rd race was from a 10 roll but some of the video got cut off at the beginning.

Yeah... no way a exhaust only 02 is going to take even a BONE STOCK 01 TransAm. No way, no how. The ONLY way you can even get a 2v GT to compete N/A wise is either get a set of trick flow twisted wedge 2v heads, or like poster above said, FULL bolt-ons. Having said that, the 4.6 modular 2v LOVES boost. The engine's internals can hold about 400HP, but anything after that and you'll be replacing parts soon. But 320hp is enough to keep up with the LS1s. Sucks that Ford didn't step up to the plate in 99 like they should have. The GT should have been what the 03-04 Mach1 was. Glad they are finally stepping up in 2011.

Yeah, my old GT (full bolt-ons besides LTs, untuned) put down 267/310, and I wouldn't try an LS1 F-body unless I had also had 4.10s. Had I been tuned with LTs AND 4.10s, I would have not been afraid of LS1s from a dig, but of course I'd still get raped from a roll. Good kill OP
