Those are nice, but the 1st gen Neon with the SRT-4 engine/turbo swap are even meaner.

I know a guy with a 99 Neon R/T with an SRT-4 engine and a bigger turbo. It's a sleeper alright

loving my polluter cam too..don't have your full bolt ons though. Thats some dam good #s for a mustang dyno..bet that car moves out especially on spray.

Nice races. I ran a quick SRT4 recently but unfortunately I don't know what was done to it! Supposedly there's a black one cruising around with an aftermarket turbo making around 400 to the wheels. Should make it interesting.

He never said the SRT4 in the video. A bigger turbo SRT4 on race gas and 28psi might very well take one on the highway.

Who was that really ugly woman that owned the red SRT4? It was pretty quick if I remember.

=My SRT, except I'm on E85, so I can do it all the time without running to the gas station. Remember these cars are under 2900lbs. Race from a dig unless you like surprises...

On a side note, why are we running 350rwhp cars from 50/60 rolls? Lets see what an entire race is like... either a dig or a 20-30 roll.

Good races though op, impressive car for what little has been done to it! I love his mod list compared to yours.

Thanks, and yea they're not too bad. My Saturn Astra is waaaaaay more of a comfortable DD than a neon though.

LOL yea it is pretty gay, but I've known the guy for years so I can deal.

As for the 50/60 roll I would be far happier going from a slower speed but it was about 35* outside and he has no hope of traction with street tires in those sort of temps.

when I was at the drag strip thay all ran 14.5-14.9..

Raced a 'stage 3" srt4 in my stock C5..i ran a 13.5 at 103 and he ran a 13.6 at 104..

Just not following the fast srt4 thing..Can someone please edumacate me on these being fast
