01 2500 6.0 vs 5.0

01 2500 6.0 vs 5.0 This is the only race i have had in a longtime so i figured i would post it.
So i was headed home earlier this evening and got stopped at a light, Along side me pulled a what looks like a project 5.0 stang. Sounded like it might just have a exhaust and a few other bolt ons. I am driving my bone stock 01 Sierra 2500 and figured wth i know im going to loose but thought i would be fun. i throw him a little rev for ***** and giggles and he nods and points to the light haha so now its on. Light turns green and i just give the tires a nice bark and he spun just a bit, but i have him all the way till about 65-70 and then he started to very slowly pull away. We shut down at 90 with him 1 car ahead. I thought the old truck did ok for what it is...Tho i think the stang could of used a better driver. Either way it was fun
