we decided to go to mexico and shoot a little race between a 5.0 thunderbird that made 305 whp and a 240sx that makes 429 whp and my 240z LS1 that hasnt been on a dyno yet and runs 8 psi.

the thunderbird has run a best of 12.2 in the 1/4 the 240s have not been to the track yet. the way it looks the 240sx will be in the 11s and the 240z in the 10s.

yeah his best pass is a 12.2 but his average is between 12.3 and 12.5 , it depends on the air and the track. he didnt race much last season due to work but he wants to make a few changes this season and try for 11.99. i was at the dyno session and saw it make 305 whp and 305 ish tq. but its threw a loose converter and auto trans so i bet its more like 350 hp and 350 tq at the crank if not a tad more.
