This weekend was the first time out racing the Z. (Just got the car last Sept)
Got a chance to race a few cars.
1st kill was a Bolt On SVT Contour ( yea i know it was my buddies car and he thinks there the **** and are fast on the top end) raced from 70 put a bus length on him .
Next up was 94 5.0 mustang bolt ons T-5 raced from a dig once i got traction it was all over for him.
Got on the freeway lookin for cars to run. Found an 05 GT mustang made a couple runs from 70 same outcome every time pulled a few car lengths on him.
On the way home raced a 5.9 Dakota RT manual and bolt ons. made two 30mph runs he stayed with me for a sec then i was gone. Raced form a dig also, once i got traction all i could see was him in my mirror.
So not to bad for the first night out I need to find some faster cars to run now.

Nice, iv had my car for about 2 year now and I havn't even been in 3 races yet. You had three in one night, wow. I should drive out there.

+1 on the rarely getting any races. I think people are scared of the squeak coming from under the 3" cowl

Sounds like you were on quite a roll there! Thats a good day. Nice kills. And tell your friend with the SVT Contour to buy a real car.....I don't understand how someone can own a vehicle like that and "think they are the ****." Well they are **** compared to an LS1.

Good kills, but FYI Dakota 5.9R/Ts were automatic only. It could have been a 5.2 or 4.7 V8 though.

ok it was a 5.9 for sure so i guess it was an auto.

Word. A 5.9R/T was one of the first things I ever raced back when I had my Integra when I was 16. We went from like a ~20mph roll and I pulled a car on him up to ~90mph
