Default Built Supercharged Lightening vs my 6.0 Powerstroke **VIDEOS**

On my way to a Senses Fail/Bayside concert I run up on some white lightening..not being one to turn down the good stuff..I let it whoop my a*s pretty good

I weigh roughly 7200lbs w driver and half a tank and have run low 13s in the 1/4 in 4wd H on race tune. Today I was in 2wd on the extreme street tune. I dont think the race tune would have made much difference but wanted to see how fast he was just the same. My only other mods are cai and str8 pipe exhaust(sct tuner)..anybody know what one of those Lightenings weigh?..seemed pretty stout..check em out

first was from a 70 roll..tried to roll into it so it wouldnt kick down but it did anyway

second was from a 55 roll( I brakeboosted a bit)..apparently a better point for him as he seemed to reel me in quick once he got going..I got the jump even though you can see me take off on the 3rd honk each time

Its an 04..It runs really good for the minimal mods and weight. If I up the boost and do any more mods, I'll stud it as that is a weakpoint on the 6.0s. With the SCT tuner, I get 3 settings, and the setting I leave it on(street) still gets 25mpg on the highway. I didnt think Id like an automatic, but it has grown on me and I drive it more than my supposed dd.

Here is the truck vs a built 96-98 GT running mid/high 8s in the 1/8th all night:

Nice races and nice Pstroke!!! Please please please ditch your egr set up and do something with your trans. Both are timebombs and can cause serious damage.

I love the TBSS rides and if I dont keep the diesel thats prolly what Ill look into..that or a HD 6.0 gas truck..still need something to pull the drag car with.

just watched the turbo lightning in the multimedia section(highly recommend)..said it weighed 4700lbs..so I dont feel quite as bad about getting passed by a truck weighing roughly 2500lbs less
