This is a stock(As far as i know) Challenger R/T that called me out and wanted to run me for 50$ with them getting the hit from a dig.

Before the race they changed their mind about running for money lol.


First Race
From a dig, Challenger gets the hit. I sleep at the line and spin bad when I take off.
By the time I left, his rear bumper was already at my front bumper so i might as well given him a car and a flag.

The Challenger is an auto lol. I wasn't expecting the 2nd race to be like that either but thats just how it happened.

Seriously? You expected a closer race when a 12.9 second modified G8 GT went up against a stock probably 14.0 second R/T? I just surprised it was as close as it was in the first race.

OP: I assume the 12.9 is your best run on a good DA and great launch. What does your car run on average, 1000-2000' DA days?

I haven't been to the track too many times but was able to make a good amount of 12.9s on my last visit in November.

The first race was close because he got the hit and by the time i left he was already a car in front. I spun too so i had to make up 2.5 car lengths and thats why i only came out a half a car in front.

Honest to god, I didn't read past his link in his sig. Total n00b mistake . I was rereading the thread and was thinking "I didn't see that before, I hope no one catches that" and then I get to the last post and what do I find? It makes more sense now, but the r/t isn't a 14.0 car. Id say mid 13s, like a 13.6-8.

One race I never got with my G8 that I always wanted was against a stock Challenger RT. I think it'd be a good race.

Stock for stock it might be a good race. I have raced this one before i had my HFC and beat it so I dont know why they wanted to run again especially for money. I guess thats why they got the flag and didnt bet the money lol.

I ran R/T with a stick before that had C.A.I. drag radials, and a Diablo Predator and was able to walk him before my HFC.

I didnt expect anything but a good pull by the G8. Nice car OP.
I dont know about comparing those 2 cars..G8 GT is way better in every way IMO..

I know plp might dont give a **** about mags..but..stock VS stock is not a good race.

Damn..that G8 is impressive! Sounds like a great bang for the buck with a lot of afer market perfomance parts.

^^ Plenty of those G8 GT's hitting low 12's and 11's with major mods. There alot like SRT8 Chargers/300's, 4dr cars that you dont want to sleep on.
