Sounds like you car would have fit right in there and probably could have taken the win. I am not sure how many people you had in your car though. Would have been kool seeing a 4 car race though!

judging cars by peak HP = First mistake, The mach was setup better plus auto which = no room for driver error. Mach went 12.6 @ 112 with a 1.8 60ft. The difference between these cars is the mach does at least that on the street while most other cars do not hook as well on the street. This was a setup race and the GTO did not miss any gears, neither did the terminator. The reason I did not try to keep up was because I was forced to change lanes and it was not my race. Me and the cobra are dead even from a roll, and me and the mach have never raced.

I will agree with you on the fact that this was a roll race race so driver error does not come into play. This is just about Hp and torque and the outcome "should have" been different.
However, if this was me, I would have been comming back around to collect! haha
Need more info from the OP...

That is street racing man. I have seen more unbelievable things than that though. I cannot tell you many races went my way with a more powerful car that was "supposed" to win.

Who throws 5.3 heads on instead of the factory 243s on an LS2? Dumb move in my book.

Im an LSX guy myself, I drive a cam only WS6 but I just figured id put this video up of the red headed stepchild LSX (GTO) getting worked by a barely bolt on mach lol, im neutral on this race and didnt really care who won. I figured the GTO would won but just shows what a bad setup in a heavy car with IRS will do......From a roll yes on paper the GTO showed have walked the mach but that just shows why street racing is fun because anything can happen.
