No way an LT1 with just a catback (especially not just a flowmaster) can kill an LS1... Unless the LS1 driver can't sync his left foot and right hand well, or the LT1 was one hell of a freak and the LS1 one hell of a dog..
Keep in mind this is coming from an LT1 driver.
There's something abnormal about this vid.

A guy I know ran his stick, LT-1 Camaro Z28 with only a dynomax bullet catback and Longtubes @ 13.3, cutting 1.9's on his 17x11 cheapo tires. So, his 13.3 could pull on a stock LS-1 with a mediocre driver.
So, it's possible, but that vid still sucks ***.

It's SHUT-DOWN!!! And I ran against a full bolt-on LT-1 with stall when my car was stock and made him disappear in the rearview. The next day he was like, "I'm gett'n an LS1!".

And yes it does seem like the ls1 let off. May be they were trying to stage an lt1 win.
