my bone stock formula vs built boosted honda
#21
well last time i was at the track, a guy was happy that he ran a 16.0 in his 98 sohc vtec civic coupe. he said he has been working to get it to that point, he was intake exhaust, idk what else.
edit: im sorry this may be my first time but unless your brothers car is turbo'd or gutted or sprayed, i have to call BS. a civic si wont run a 15.0 without some decent mods, and that has 35-40 more hp than a single cam, a sohc vtec aint runnin that.

yeah, i was into honda's when i was younger, i had a built/turbo d16z6 delsol, even the newer vtec d-series only make 130 crank. and the usual bolt-on mods give them almost nothing. im not trying to be a douche, i just have a hard time believing a sohc 130hp civic ran a 15.0. but its not a big deal.

idk whats up with your car seems like it should be a bit faster. I had a 95 convertible formula with just a catback and CAI and it ran consistent 14.1 at 98MPH. It also had 140,000 miles on it and 2.73 gears. You should be doing better with an m6 maybe your really high in the sky lol? Whats your elevation? Maybe your car just needs a tune up. Or an actual tune.
