I would agree with you but if you will observe the Viper has the top down and mine is MUCH slower with the top down..Has a parachute effect at those 110 plus mph speeds they were raceing at. So all in all I think it was pretty even.

Those LS3 vettes defiently took the base vettes in the right direction though..LS2 was a let down

Modded vs modded i agree with you but the stock vs stock and day time vids i think is post worthy.....as far as your comment i can find numerous vids of highly modded civics beating vettes and vipers.....wouldnt be worth posting imho unless it was a member here

Nice vids. I wonder what bolt ons that ls3 had against that stock 510hp stock Viper in the 3rd video. Vipers are quick when they have a good driver but i would think a "FULL" bolt on LS3 could walk a stock 510hp Viper. Either way good races and nice finds! You werent biased and only showing vids where only the Viper beat the Vette. Keep em coming even if they are just random races off youtube lol

that rolling up on the vette and then TAKING the hit is chicken ****. it lost to a z06. that car will lose EVERY time to a z06. EVERY time. rolling up on him and taking to hit is a loser move.


it started with a 5mph advantage and took the hit, because he KNEW he would lose.....total BS.

When that C6 Z06 hooked, it raped the Viper!!! Funny Viper dude kept trying to take the hit and here I thought the Viper would keep up with a C6Z?

Funny I see a lot of folks speak this non-sense. The LS2 C6 was intended to be a substantial improvement over it's predecessor, the base model C5, and lived up to every bit of that goal. 400hp (up 50 from the previous base Corvette), mid 12's @ 114-115 in the quarter-mile (about a half second quicker than the C5 Z51), top speed of 186mph, and a MSRP of $43,780 which was actually down from 2004! I fail to see what the "let down" is with that?

Now on the other hand the 2006 Dodge Viper, having a massive 505-cubic inch V10 and a sticker of about $81k, yet got DESTROYED by GM's less expensive, 427ci V8 powered Corvette Z06, was a real let down imo.

Come on, now your reaching. The GM 427 z06 came of competition. But people were paying $80+ for a Z06 at the dealer first year. Yes, it was a dealer markup.

And Dodge responded again as GM raises the vette horsepower. It's been non stop for years. I personally like it, because horsepower keeps going up.

Now with the new company involved owning chrysler. We are going to see possible and AWD version, it's going to be wicked if you ask me. They are talking 700+hp too. I can't wait to see what happens.

As for vettes, I love them all too. But doesn't matter if is a ls2 to a zr1. It's still a vette, something you can't change. They are everywhere and affordable. If I'm going to buy something, I'd like something out of the ordinary. Like Fadi did and bought a used lambo.
