2009 G8 GT vs 2006 STI Dig Run

When we were screwing around before the dig race it definitely seemed like the STI was finicky in how it had to be driven. We didn't honk or anything, just got next to each other and hit it.
The first run I got a little jump and it looked like he was going to come back by me, but then I started pulling away more. After that, sometimes he would get out a little and hold it there and sometimes I seemed to be walking by without a problem.

Good kill! Wish I could have ran an STI with a good driver in the shelby before I sold it. The one I raced I absolutely destroyed because the kid had bought it like a week before, haha. Although I'm sure it would have looked about exactly like what your race did since our cars were identicle to each other.
We gotta have a pike pre-game soon. A bunch of us should meet up for dinner one weekend or sometihng. I'm having major winter blues lately!! Gotta get my *** outta the house lol.

The Si is a pretty cool car overall. Definately love the bumper change in 09. Looks sexy, smooth ride but handles exceptional, very fun to drive with the short geared 6spd, ect. One thing i will say is the 4dr Si has a ton of room for a sport compact. The rear seat room and leg room is insane. I don't know how they opened up all that room in such a lil car. I'm 6'3" and i can sit in the back comfortably with the seat all the way back. Factory stereo is all anyone would ever need, it bumps really good. Gas mileage we usually avg 32 around town with some interstate and 37ish on interstate only. Best overall was going to Myrtle Beach last summer we got there from Charleston, Wv on just under 1 tank of gas. 468 miles and had 2 dots of gas left. It avg out right at 42mpg. Super reliable and not a bad price. For a daily/baby hauler i couldn't see having anything else honestly. Especially for the price. Oh yeah plus its decently fast bone stock. From a roll it edged out a new auto RS camaro the other month and it will put a lil distance on 99-04ish GT ponys. Thats always fun.
