UConn Police KILL UConn Car Show A fellow S2k owner on my other forum is in the UCONN car club.
Figured I'd post here since I know a lot of you guys are planning on attending
He just had a meeting with the UCONN Police saying they will be TICKETING any cars not trailered to the show that are illegally modded
His exact words:

Yah I had the meeting with them this morning. They said that they will be ticketing cars that aren't trailered, if their not street legal that is. There was no way they'd cave in with the exhaust competition either.

I went last year and it was a pretty fun time, but it's too long of a drive to have my ***** broken over nonsense, so I doubt I'll go this year. There are too many other shows and cruises to worry about this stuff.

yea he clarified that its those ppl that drive illegal cars - like track only cars to these shows. Not ppl with mods and wat not. But that still makes me wonder

Sounds like it was going to be in FULL force, thats why i figured I'd share just to be safe. Don't want you guys rollin up and they have a freakin checkpoint at the entrance

It's where people pull up one at a time and rev their engines and try to have the loudest car there. Then, when an open header racecar is clearly louder than your yellow 2010 Camaro SS, you have your friends stand around the racecar and boo obnoxiously and act like straight retards in the hopes that it gets you the attention you were looking for when everyone was ignoring your Camaro.

It's where people pull up one at a time and rev their engines and try to have the loudest car there. Then, when an open header racecar is clearly louder than your yellow 2010 Camaro SS, you have your friends stand around the racecar and boo obnoxiously and act like straight retards in the hopes that it gets you the attention you were looking for when everyone was ignoring your Camaro.
