Default 03 cobra vs 03 mach 1

Well it was my first weekend out with the longtubes and suspension so I decided to test it out on a friends 03 jms ported 2.8 pulley exhaust cobra traped 120-121 at the track awhile back. Wanted a dig but he had street tires oh well. Did a 20 roll and 40 roll. From the 20 I had about a half car lead when i shut it down from a 40 he got me by about 2 cars little bit of a bog for me in 2nd but it was fun clean runs. btw camera car is a bolt-on ls6 ctsv

40 Roll camera was a little late

20 roll

on the 20mph roll looks like he spun pretty bad but he was making ground up really fast until you shut it down..

Nice run Automach!! Impressive against a pullied Cobra...He was making up ground pretty quick though. I would have liked to see a run from a dig though.

What mods do you have? Is your MACH an Automatic?

It's probably auto, hence AUTOmach1, anywho nice race, those cobras are good out of the hole w/ tires but i'm impressed, you run your car at the track yet?

Except your 1/8th traps were indicative of 105-106mph 1/4 mile traps

Nice times man...that is moving out for an automatic...I guess your stall must play a big part in that.
I heard that with an SCT tune, it really wakes up the automatic by changing the shift points...Does you tune currently modify you shifts?

It looks like you know what you are doing when it comes to street racing..... It looks like you are stealing the hit and get instant traction as opposed to the cobra having to play catch up...

Your car has got to be a lot of fun from stop light to stop light....

You are correct the stall is a big part of it. Also i usually manual shift but yes sct can change the shift points.

Looks can be deceiving the cars hits hard from a 20 with the gear and the cobra spun a little. Either way with a even hit and a tire on the cobra I am almost positive i would pull out a solid car from a 20 Yea it does well from where it counts
