Got to race an 03 nissan 350Z supercharged. The car had a stillen blower, CAI intake and a few other mods running on 8lbs. My car is on my sig.

We did 3 runs, 2 digs and 1 roll.

The first race was from a dig. I hooked good and pulled out of the hole by about a car but i could hear the 350z's whiney blower staying right at my back bumper. In second I had him by about 2 cars and he was hangin there till my 3rd gear kicked in and i pulled another 2 car lenghts. I was up to 110ish and he was probobly about 5 cars behind me and i was pulling away.

The second race was from a 20 roll. I did 3 honks and stomped on the gas. I left my car in over drive and for some reason my car started in 2nd and didn't downshift to 1st. He pulled on me by about a car and a half on the roll, Then my on my 3rd I started creeping up on him. By 120 mph i passed him easily and got him by a car and had to let off because there was a car in front of us.

Third Race he wanted to try another dig. We lined up I honked and took off...I got a better launch on this one and pulled on him by a car and a half instantly, It was pretty much the same result as the first dig race, by 125 he was way back behind me but he said he let off at 105 because he wasn't catching me anymore.

The car was pretty impressive for what it was. It was the first time running a 350Z supercharged and thought he was gonna do alot better. It was a cool car though the blower looks like a mini whipple lol.

That was my easter weekend kill story haha..happy easter guys!

That blower must suck ***. Blower at 8 psi should get it to make over 350whp. I'm guessing its designed as an old school roots. 350zs really aren't that fast unless they go forged motor and turbo. Only thing that suprises me is that he lost from the roll race.

Yea My mods are in my sig, and have 853 heads and ls1 intake if that means anything. I could hear the blower and he was powershifting the hell out of it i heard the tires chirp. My high end was good enough to catch him on the roll. I dont know anything about those cars so idk what numbers he should be pushing out with the blower. He said it was a stillen blower on 7 or 8 lbs, it was a nice looking one too it was polished up and shiny.

Early 350z's like the one you raced make about 240whp (273 crank hp) And advertised by stillen they make 410 crank hp with the supercharger. With some heads and full bolt ons it should be a good race from a roll. You will have the advantage from the dig having a solid rear axle.

I would have thought that you were going to get pulled too. But hey, great kill! Must feel good to beat a FI car. An HR Z would have put up a better fight.

The stillen blowers on the 350z's suck ***... The idea is great to give it a flat curve, but it doesn't make alot of power. My old z stock went 13.8@102... with a vortech on 9psi went 12.2@115...

Yea ill see if he wants to run them again and ill try and get video of it. He said he wants to get headers for it next and some other stuff. I think with full boltons he should pull me on a roll no doubt...my car is known to suck on rolls and i get beat alot on the rolls anyway so i was surprised i caught up and passed him. My cars nasty on digs though I can't wait till i get a stall for it.

He was spinning from the take off but not as bad as i thought he would of...I could hear it wheel hoppin a little bit but like i said the first race he was right at my back bumper and for a second it looked like he was going to catch me but He stayed about 2 cars back for a while then 3rd hit and i started pulling away more.

Thanks man! yep feels good beating a FI import. The other 350Z i ever ran was at the track last summer and he was spraying a 75 shot i believe.

410 crank hp is mid to low 300whp. He's probably making close to what you are making to the wheels with less torque due to the supercharger working off of the motor. Also the stillen roots blower they use is old school so it will hit hard down low and fall off up top. It sucks they don't make a TVS blower for the 350/370z's

My old z on 9psi made 395/325 with the vortech. Tell you buddy to not to skip out and buy cheap headers. 90% of the aftermarket headers for them cars actually slow them down.

Tell him to sell that stillen and go vortech or turbonetics!
