He ended up beating me every single time, but I put up a good fight.



Started off on the highway. I caught up to him and knowing what that car has under the hood... I revved while next to him but he didnt hear me (lolz) So I did a little WOT to get his attention and as soon as I did that he noticed me and was game.


At this point he floors it and I dont even try to keep up I just wait till he lets off and pull up next to him again with my window down... I yell out "ON THE THIRD HONK!" he nods.

So I honk it off and on the third honk we both go WOT. I was in second gear at about 55mph and I get the jump but he fairly quickly pulled even and walked me slowly with 3 cars by 110 when I gave up.

When I pulled up next to him again he had his window down and gave me a thumbs up. I returned the thumbs up and yelled "lets go from a dig!". He nods and takes the next exit - I follow.


At this point im so ******* stoked that this guy in his early 40s actually took a detour to run my turd...maybe he used to own a L67 car? idk.. anyways...


We get off the highway and line up at a red light. I do my best on the launch but he jumps ahead anyway and stays a car ahead through 1st and pulls another 2 in second and I give up again after that letting off around 90 with him 4-5 cars ahead.


I knew I was gonna lose, I was just so happy to get to play with the new SHO and the guy was really cool. He asked me what all I had done to the car and said he was genuinely impressed with how much I kept up with him. He said his car was tuned but I think he was bullshitting.

I wish I had an LS1...

Nice runs. Not sure why wanted to go from a dig with him. He is AWD. lol With a tune they have hit higher 12's. They are a boat though.

Also they can't seem to get them above 500whp. The internals as weak. This is one of the first videos I remember seeing of them.

The G8 chase car would eat both them. It makes almost 500whp. But the mustang was stock and the SHO had a tune.

Oh and I think the SHO is over priced as well. Its over 40k new. But is has everything you want..But still.

375whp is what a stock manual makes to the wheels on average.
